Boris is Senior Portfolio Manager for Orange Investment Advisors with over 26 years of industry experience. Boris oversees all Structured Credit trading at Orange. Prior to co-founding Orange Investment Advisors with Jay in 2017, he worked for 11 years at Semper Capital, first trading Agency mortgage passthroughs, then taking over mortgage credit trading after the Global Financial Crisis. In 2007 he and Jay co-developed one of the first mortgage credit models based on real estate valuations. Boris was Head Trader for the Semper MBS Total Return Fund from its inception through his departure in 2016. Prior to Semper, Boris worked as a Risk Manager at Bayview Financial Trading Group and began his career in 1999 as a Risk Analyst/Junior Portfolio Manager at HSBC Securities and at Lazard Asset Management.
